Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine

Science Week – Educational video

An engaging and informative video production on behalf of a prestigious higher education institution.

Liverpool’s School of Tropical Medicine approached Ludovico in the lead-up to their 125th-anniversary celebrations, enlisting our help in producing an educative video detailing an incredibly exciting initiative.

‘Living Liverpool’ is the chance for young people in Merseyside to participate in the search for new antibodies to combat future strains of bacteria. The challenge for Ludovico was to present this to the young people in an engaging, digestible way.

Recorded in the fantastic labs of LSTM, this video is now used in schools across Liverpool to educate and enlist young people in the fight against bacteria!

Founded in 1898. LSTM was the first institution in the world dedicated to researching and teaching tropical medicine.
They’re also a registered charity. Often working across the world in very difficult circumstances, they work to fulfil their mission of reducing the burden of sickness and mortality in disease-endemic countries. They do so through the delivery of effective interventions that improve human health. This is usually relevant to the poorest of communities. LSTM works in combating diseases such as TB, HIV/AIDS, malaria, dengue and lymphatic filariasis.
